## Artwork & Technical Specifications

- Submit artwork in Adobe Illustrator with source files and fonts included.
- TIFF or EPS files at 300 DPI minimum resolution for images.
- Minimum type size: 6pt. Outline all text to avoid font compatibility issues.
- Barcodes: High contrast (black on white preferred), placed away from folds or seams.
- Trapping: Standard 0.2mm allowance. Submit artwork un-trapped.
- Distortion correction: Computer modeling compensates for shrink rate differences on curved surfaces.
- Common plate/cylinder designs available for multi-product families to optimize costs.
- Barcode BWR: Set at .001 for gravure.

## Proofing Process

1. PDF electronic proofs for initial approval.
2. Epson print proofs for color accuracy review.
3. On-press first articles to confirm final output before full production.
